ABOUT NAT KENDALL YOGA
Yoga was my refuge in a time when nothing seemed to make sense, a sacred space that gave me the glimpse of hope I needed to wake back up to the absolute miracle of life amidst a tumultuous time on my journey. Early in my practice it was simply a way to just feel OK, if only for a moment. What I didn't anticipate was ultimately how transformed I would be by the practice; plus the community, well-being and joy that would be brought to me from this artful way of living.
I'm indebted and at the feet of many teachers and the sacrifices they've made to share the teachings. And, I'm at the feet of the teachings themselves. It is by the grace of many, and something indescribable, that I've found my way home through the wisdom of Yoga. My mission is to share what has been shared with me, to share what has been awakened in me through the yogic traditions and gift you the sanctuary of the teachings that illuminate the path home.
Yoga is the path that meticulously prepares us to live fully and fearlessly, opening to new experiences, new possibilities and new challenges as we meet life head-on with dignity and poise. The teachings, when given our steadfast and unshakeable effort, guide us to observe clearly, listen acutely, and skillfully respond to the moment with compassion and kindness. It is a personal journey that can shift the nature of our very own existence and thus, the world we exist in.
