ABOUT THE RANCH:
Nestled in the pulsing heart of the Montana Rockies is a place like no other – Feathered Pipe Ranch. One of the oldest centers for conscious living and yoga retreats in the country, Feathered Pipe offers workshop experiences guided by some of the world’s finest teachers in a relaxed, leisurely, nature-drenched setting. Visitors can wander the sacred land, exploring ambling brooks fed by pure mountain springs, open vistas and star gazing like no other place in the world. You can just as easily find community with others, sitting on the open lawn in the shade of cottonwood trees, quaking aspens, and fragrant pine with an exquisite view out over the secluded lake.
Surrounded by millions of acres of forest and mountains, the Feathered Pipe Ranch is one of the country’s premier retreat centers. It is a vibrant and peaceful oasis to which our guests return eagerly year after year – inevitably leaving the Ranch feeling recharged and relaxed – and counting the days until they can again return.
For more than 40 years, the Ranch has been home to yoga and conscience living retreats that help us experience our wholeness and remember our intimate connection to all of life. Many of today’s foremost voices on yoga, meditation, wellness and health have come through our doors at one time or another - Joseph Campbell, K. Pattabhi Jois, Dr. Bernard Jensen, Dr. Andrew Weil, Lilias Folan, Angela Farmer, Mary Dunn, Rodney Yee, Patricia Walden, Erich Schiffmann, Judith Hanson Lasater and Seane Corn – to name only a few.

Exploring Montana before or after?
Please plan some extra time to explore this state! The Ranch itself is halfway between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks (3 hours by car in either direction), so you might consider coming a few days early or staying a few days after your retreat to take in one or both of these natural treasures. *Once your travel is confirmed, please email us at namaste@natkendall.com with your arrival/departure time and airline.
To which airport should I fly?
We recommend the Helena Regional Airport. Missoula International Airport and Bozeman International Airport are also feasible points of arrival but will require a two hour commute via bus or auto that you will need to coordinate on your own.
How do I get from Helena or the airport to the Ranch?
For retreats with Nat Kendall at Feathered Pipe the shuttle service is complimentary and can pick you up at the Helena airport or anywhere locally in Helena. For the airport, our driver will meet you at baggage claim wearing a Feathered Pipe t-shirt. We are now grouping some pick-ups, so you may have a 30 minute wait. You can expect to eat very well! We are fortunate to have access to organic food through the Real Food Deli and Market in Helena – Montana’s first and only certified organic grocery store.
