Explore the nuances and subtle ways of using touch in the practice of yoga to create trust, support and encouragement. We’ll discuss and learn about the sacred bond that can be created between yoga guide and student; talking about the dynamics of how, when and why we use adjustments and assists to nurture another’s practice.
This workshop will be part dialog and part hands on interactive, experiential practice. We’ll work on foundational poses together and then practice in small groups to get feedback from each other. Together we’ll help you build the confidence to offer safe, effective and intentional assisting techniques for your students.
