Set to subtle ambient music, this will be a soul-soothing practice 'in the dark' to return you back to your inner stillness. Lean into your internal intuition as you get safely guided through mantra, movement, poses and breath while coming closer to the sanctuary of your own heart.

About the Event
Throughout our days we take in an overwhelming amount of visual information; glaring light from our devices, sensationalized news feeds, conversations, billboards and an overly busy world constantly whirling around us. Our eyes are infiltrated with so much imagery and stimulation in our modern life that our psyche hasn’t evolved enough to digest the surplus of constant input vying for our attention.
For most of us, this hyper-sensationalized world kicks up so much turbulence in the mind that we can’t even find the pause button – we keep ourselves spinning around the hamster wheel as we consume more and more information. We forget the necessity of creating intentional time and space to slip into stillness and let our eyes rest. Minimizing our distractions and finding healthy ways to process the influx of sensory information is crucial to navigating our days with less anxiety and more clarity.
The yogis of old equated the atman, or soul, to a flame burning in a windless cave in our hearts. A place inside us unperturbed by the incessant noise and imagery all around, a place to burn through the ‘mind stuff’ and use the fire of practice to digest all of the unprocessed stimulation. In this quiet space we can hear our greater truths and feel a deeper connection – returning to our true nature.
